Our Foundation Announces New Round Of Funding

Dog and cat

Charitable work is core to our mission of well-being for all. It’s so important to us that every order placed aids homeless animals.

As the charitable arm of Life’s Abundance, The Dr. Jane Foundation provides financial support to small and medium-size rescue groups who work to prevent animal homelessness, abuse and chronic neglect.

We dedicate a portion of our profits from the sale of Life’s Abundance products into our non-profit’s funding reserves. In the span of several years, we’ve awarded funding to nearly 100 groups!

Decisions to fund grant applications are made by our non-profit’s Board of Directors, comprised of current Life’s Abundance executives, all of whom are well-versed in the art of analyzing the merits of individual applicants. Thanks to the diligent work of this team, when you make a donation to The Dr. Jane Foundation, you can rest assured that each grant recipient has been thoroughly vetted and judged worthy of assistance.

With so many organizations as recipients, it’s hard to calculate the exact number of animals helped by our non-profit … but it’s easily in the hundreds, if not thousands of dogs and cats. But we’re here today to tell all Life’s Abundance customers that each one of you has made a positive impact. And we’ll be here tomorrow, making sure that more groups receive the funding they need to reach their goals.

The groups we support are taking realistic, practical steps toward reversing the trend of pet overpopulation, such as by offering low cost spay-or-neuter surgeries. Others dedicate resources to educating pet parents about solving problems that contribute to the abandonment of companion animals in the first place. All of this work has a net effect of reducing the number of animals in shelters and foster care.

Just think, simply by shopping with Life’s Abundance, you’re actually making a positive impact in someone else’s life. Many customers will never realize exactly how much they’ve done to improve the lives of dogs and cats in need. Even though you might never know their names, you can know that you’ve helped transform countless homeless animals into companion animals!

And we’ve saved the best news for last. Our Board of Directors just held their last quarterly meeting in mid-July, approving grants to the following recipients …

- Deming Animal Guardians of Deming, NM

- Green Lake Area Animal Shelter of Green Lake, WI

- New Jersey Aid for Animals of Sickerville, NJ

- Second Chance Cocker Rescue of Santa Barbara, CA

- Southern Comfort Maltese Rescue of Chattanooga, TN

In the coming months, we will update you on what these groups are able to achieve with our funding. You can be sure whatever it is, these organizations will be doing their utmost to change lives for the better.

To learn more about the organizations who’ve received funding from us in the past, visit our web page today. There, you’ll find summaries of our previous grant recipients.

And there’s more good news … we are still accepting applications for funding. If you know of an animal rescue organization that deserves special recognition and financial support, please encourage them to fill out an application.

Check back next month for more good news from The Dr. Jane Foundation. Together, we’re making a difference!

Virgil and I know so many people who are involved in excellent rescue and shelter operations. We often recommend to any well-run rescue/shelter that is qualified as a 501(c)(3) organization that they apply for a grant from the Dr Jane Foundation. And we’re proud that our nearest and dearest greyhound adoption group did so and got funding!

I am so thankful that Life's Abundance is actively supporting rescue work nationwide.  Rescue work is my passion.  So I am always recommending the grant to groups that I am in contact with.  Thanks to all who serve on the board to ensure that the grant money is allocated in the best possible way!

This makes me so proud of our company. I know many people feel proud to purchase products from a company that is actually using some of their money to help animals.

    Well Done Dr.Jane Foundation!

I am thrilled that New Jersey Aid for Animals received a grant!  I spoke with the founder earlier this year and suggested she apply and emailed her the application.  What a worthwhile organization.  Thank you Dr. Jane and your foundation!
