    Thanks Dr. Sarah!
Very simple suggestions and all very true not just for our pet kids, but for ourselves too! Will give them a try for my little dachshund/beagle girl.

This may work for one or two pets but what do you do when you have 28?

I've been feeding my Siberian Husky with a mix of Life's Abundance Weight Loss & Premium Health Food for many years because I believe it is quality food.  Likewise, I have been feeding my 2 cats with a mix of Life's Abundance Premium Health Food & Hills Senior dry cat food.  My vet tells me that your food contains no calorie count so it cannot be used to calculate quantity of food required.  Why don't you tell the calories per feeding cup of each type of food?  I'm at a loss now to keep my aging pets healthy.  I like your food ingredients, but may have to change to a food that tells me how many calories I'm giving.  My 8 year old neutered male is seriously overweight, and I need help with this!  If you know calorie count, please help.  Thank you.

    Note from Life's Abundance Staff:
The calorie count for our premium foods is listed on every bag, in the Guaranteed Analysis panel. It's also listed on each product detail page on our website (click on the Guaranteed Analysis link). A third option is to call us toll-free at 877-387-4564 ... our customer service reps will also be able to give you this information, and much more!

Calorie Counts for each of the products you've purchased ...

Premium Health Food for Puppies & Adult Dogs
    Metabolizable Energy (ME) = 3,880 kcal/kg, 482 kcal/cup

Premium Weight-Loss Formula for Adult Dogs
    Metabolizable Energy (ME) = 3,380 kcal/kg, 326 kcal/cup

Premium Health Food for Kittens & Adult Cats
    Metabolizable Energy (ME) = 4,065 kcal/kg, 495 kcal/cup

Dr Sarah, how about a video on cat urinary tract health? I get lots of questions about that from customers!

Another idea: A video about cat and dog skin care. That's another "hot" topic!

And one more: How about a video showing how to use the new Stainless Steel Odor Remover!

Hey Rebecca - those are great ideas! I'll have to put them in the hopper!

    Carol:

    28 dogs - WOW!

With that many fur kids, a kennel system would be helpful for feeding time.  You could also separate then with baby gates. The trick is keeping them out of each other's bowls - when feeding time is over, all the bowls are picked up. I'm sure they get plenty of exercise playing with each other - so that probably isn't an issue!
